    (2.) Where is source code for 259,072 unzip.exe

    Newest source that google and I find is 6.10b beta 😉
    Can you post a link to source (or make it avail on your site if can’t be found at primary sources… looks like development at info-zip is dead.

  3. Mit dem Hauptspeicher besteht ein höheres Risiko das das Programme als Trojaner erkannt wird, was so schon ziemlich schwierig war

  4. Danke für die Rückmeldung und den Comodo-Hinweis. Ich hatte übrigens nur Rücksicht auf die nicht-deutsch-sprachigen Forenbesucher genommen ….

    Die Datei bleibt, wenn bspw. ein verschlüsseltes Setup-Programm aufgerufen und abgebrochen wird, bestehen … Hilfreich wäre evtl., die zu entschlüsselnde Datei im Hauptspeicher zu entpacken …

    Also die Datei muss ja irgendwo entschlüsselt werden, sonst würde es nicht so ohne weiteres auf neueren Windows Version entschlüsselt werden können. Die Datei ist nach beenden aber immer weg, so das die nicht so ohne weiteres wieder hergestellt werden kann.
    0.8beta war nur ein kleines Update,

    in addition to my comment above one thing I just watched: The encryption application shows version 0.8 Beta while the called protected application shows 0.7 Beta. Possibly here is a difference.

    first of all many thanks for your effort with the tools for the users.

    I have two questions regarding Protect Exe 0.8 Beta:
    1. If I started a protected application ‘Filexyz.exe’ and entered the (correct) password a copy of this application ‘!Filexyz.exe’ remains in the directory even the first application (‘Filexyz.exe’) was closed. Is there an option to prevent from the remaining file (which is unprotected and startable)
    2. You have improved your application from 0.6 Beta to 0.8 Beta against faulty alarms from virus scanners. My Comodo AV claimes also 0.8 Beta … It´s possible to prevent from such false alarms?

  10. It seems that UPX Graphical 1.39b of 10.03.2013 produce upx exe files with internal 3.08 version in hearders. Are you sure that is the latest upx in this update ?

    I have a problem with and a request for SumatraPDF x64:

    1. The problem: last pre-release x64 version (7290) fais to install. The error message says; Failed to install Droidsansfallback.ttf

    2. Request: would it be possible to have information on fonts used in a document, just by clicking twice Ctrl+D, as is possible in Zeniko’s official version?

  17. Ich hab die gleiche Frage wie Anthony (14.12.11). Bei einem C-Part.-Check mit CheckDisk 1.3 64bit erhalte ich Fehler. Ich starte also neu auf, darauf schaltet sich das native Checkdisk ein, läuft durch, von Fehlerbehebung bemerke ich nichts. Wieder auf dem Desktop angelangt wiederhole ich den Check mit CheckDisk 1.3 64bit und erhalte dieselben Fehler angezeigt wie zuvor. Was muss ich also machen um sie zu beheben?

  19. Okay, curl X64 SSL will ich gerne herunterladen. Welche Dateien brauche ich denn dafür zusätzlich (libssl etc.)? Wo finde ich einen vertrauenswürdigen Link, vielleicht für das Gesamtpackage? Nochmal vielen Dank.

  20. Die SSL Version von Curl ist notwendig für x64 klar beide als 64bit. Sollte dann ohne Probleme funktionieren. Es sind keine Probleme bekannt

Meine Batch-Datei “reconnect.bat” für den Router “Speedport W303V Typ B”, die bisher unter Windows Vista einwandfrei gelaufen ist, funktioniert nicht mehr auf einem neuen Rechner unter Windows 7 64 bit. Haben sich die Bedingungen unter diesem neuen Betriessystem verändert? Welche Parameter müssen ggf. in der Batch-Datei geändert werden? Vielen Dank.

    There are problems with your cdrtools compiles. The non-cygwin versions do not appear to work correctly.

    Whenever I try to do cdrecord -scanbus or
    cdrecord dev=0,0,0 -prcap

    It crashes. Basically any time I try to access a drive it dies. And I have tried running it as administrator also.

    I am running win7 32bit.

    Also, with mkisofs I cannot seem to create ISO files for groups of files. For example: mkisofs -o test.iso *
    or
    mkisofs -o test.iso *.*
    or
    mkisofs -o test.iso .
    or
    mkisofs -o test.iso C:pathtodirectory

    When I try
    mkisofs -o test.iso file

    It works fine, but that limits mkisofs’s usefulness greatly.

    Im Jdownloader habe ich es hinbekommen im Live Header.
    Kannst du mir da helfen?

    I was trying out your ProtectEXE yesterday and I tried to lock the Microsoft Word executable and I got a message saying that the backup cannot be completed.

    My word program kept working so I assumed that nothing changed. Later, however, when I tried to use WinWord, I got a message saying that it’s locked and it would not accept the password I put in to restore the file. I tried everything from repair-installing Microsoft Office to repair-installing the OS.

    I renamed the Winword executable file and now I can use Microsoft Word but now I noticed that I can’t use my Outlook. I really don’t want to re-install everything on my computer. Do you know how I can recover the original Word executable file? I read an article that ProtectEXE backs up the original file before encrypting it. Where’s the default location of this backup?

  29. Das macht das Programm normal von alleine. Klar das das Systemlaufwerk nur beim hochfahren repariert werden kann. Das sofort reparieren bezieht sich nur auf Laufwerke die nicht in Benutzung sind: Externe Platten, Sticks usw.

  30. Hi, habe CheckDisk 3.1 runtergeladen, aber es ist kein manual dabei gewesen. Wie kann ich denn die Reparaturoption benutzen ? Unter Windows ist C: ja gesperrt. Kann man das Programm in der Systemstartreparatur evtl. aus der Kommandozeile starten oder wie ist das gedacht ? Wie wird dann erreicht, daß dieses programm und nicht die Betriebssystemversion gestartet wird ? Gruß Anthony

    Download aktuellste Firmware

    Diese Meldung kommt wenn die Konfigurationsseite vom Router nicht eingelesen werden kann. Kann daran liegen, Rechner oder das lokale Netzwerk ist überlastet.

    Es kann auch daran liegen das es bei Dir Probleme mit speedport.ip gibt.
    Und mal ehrlich der 501 ist ja ziemlich alt

    Ich hab mal ne Frage zu Speedport Online Control.
    Ich bekomme in letzter Zeit oft “IP: nicht unterstützt”
    Version 1.08, Vista Home, T-Online (Benutze aber nicht deren Software) Speedport 501
    Version 1.09, 1.10 läuft bei mir leider nicht, wenn ich da auf trennen gehe bekomme ich keine neue IP sondern behalte die alte. Bei 1.08 funktioniert es komischer weise.
    Wie bekomm ich es hin das ich nicht dauernd “IP: nicht unterstützt”
    bekomme, oder ist das normal?

  34. arcconvert is great but could you make a batch convert possibility an option to make it even greater and an option to disable the question whether you want to remove the file when its larger or not(maybe an option to delete regardless of size of new file) , danke schon.
